e-Porcha: Download Certified Copy of West Bengal Land Records/ROR

The e-Porcha is the digitally certified version of the Record of Rights (ROR), commonly known as Porcha. This essential document serves as the primary legal proof of land ownership in West Bengal. Whether you are selling a property, applying for a loan, or dealing with legal matters, having a valid e-Porcha is mandatory.

Gone are the days of standing in long queues at government offices. Now, you can easily apply for and download your e-Porcha online through the BanglarBhumi portal.

How to Download e-Porcha Online?

To get your certified e-Porcha from the comfort of your home, following these simple steps:

Step 1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official BanglarBhumi website. This is the government's dedicated platform for all land-related services.

Step 2. Login: Click on the "Sign In" button at the top. Enter your registered username and password. If you don't have an account, you'll need to sign up first.

Step 3. Citizen Services: Once logged in, look for the "Citizen Services" tab in the menu.

Step 4. Service Delivery: Under Citizen Services, navigate to "Service Delivery" and then select "ROR Request".

Step 5. Enter Details: You will see a form asking for property details. Carefully select your District, Block, and Mouza. Enter the Khatian number for which you need the Porcha.

Step 6. Payment: Processing a certified copy requires a nominal fee. Proceed to the payment gateway and pay using your preferred method (Debit Card, Net Banking, etc.).

Step 7. Download: After successful payment, you will receive an Application Number (GRN). Once the authorities approve your request (digital signature), you can download the signed PDF from the "GRN Search" or "Request GRN Search" section.

Track Your e-Porcha Status

If you have already applied and want to check if your document is ready:

  1. Log in to the BanglarBhumi portal.
  2. Go to "Citizen Services" > "Inspection Report".
  3. Enter your Application/GRN number.
  4. The current status (Pending, Signed, Rejected) will be displayed.

Why is e-Porcha Important?
